Hey Friends!

Hope your spring break was refreshing. I had a great break. We stayed home but did a lot of things and had fun. I am glad to take the kids to school today! I have been blessed with new cleaning clients. Some days I clean houses for six hours! Not including my own house work, that’s a pretty good work out.

Well, I kept my promise and got my diet plan done for at least one week (going to work on more) with Designer Whey’s free diet program. It took a little time, about an hour to get one weeks worth of my plan done but let me tell ya, it was worth it! I loved feeling in control of my food choices. I could pick the foods I like and foods my family would eat too! That is a big part of the excitement of using Designer Whey’s program. A lot of other programs I was making “my food” and “their food” it was a pain and I easily gave up. I can choose foods that will fit in our budget as well. I really feel I can stick to the plan because I created it to work for me and my busy schedule. I was even able to allow a beer or two on some nights. I enjoy having a beer or two with my hubby watching COPS Saturday night
with other diet plans it was a no no and I felt left out of that time with my husband. We don’t get drunk or anything like that but a good cold beer, COPS and sitting on the couch with hubby is priceless! Designer Whey’s Free Diet Program even allows me to have cookies if I choose and I did for one day of the week. I like making cookies with my kids and with other plans “No Cookies For Me!” (like in Seinfeld’s ‘No Zoup For You!’) I felt deprived and guilty of enjoying the cookies my kids made. No more guilt it’s in my plan! I love saying that!

I am also reading a book called Target on Nutrition; it is a great guide to eating healthy. The book recommends that 45-65% of your daily calories should be from carbohydrates, 20-35% healthy fats and 15-25% should be from proteins. The great thing about Designer Whey’s Free Diet Plan is that you can see by a graph what each daily food calorie percentage is. A very helpful tool! I was able to adjust the menu to keep me on target with my percentages and could see if I had too much or too little in any given food category. I love it!

When you sign up with Designer Whey’s Free Diet Plan it might seem cumbersome answering all the questions but trust me you will be very happy that you did. Their system does all the calculations for you, even tells you the day you should make your goal weight. Watch the video demo it will show you all the features and how it works.

My favorite feature is the printed grocery list! I used the list from my personal plan today it was GREAT! It was so nice to just go down the list and cross off what I needed. I even spent less money, which was an added bonus. The other feature I enjoy is the ability to see my progress. I can keep track of my meals, my exercising, and my weight loss by simply entering in the information on a daily bases. This also keeps me accountable to myself. This plan can only fail if I let it fail. Nothing is holding me back from succeeding my goals; it’s all been made simple. Thank you Designer Whey!  Your system gives hope to people like me who have suffered being over weight most their life. I am tired of gaining and losing the same 20 pounds over and over again
no more! Finally a plan I can live with.

So friends take the time to do the Designer Whey Diet Program. It will make all your healthy goals come to reality; and for once in your life, seeking a healthier you, seem possible.

Don’t forget to watch “The Biggest Loser” this week. I am so excited!

Take care, friends. Know that I care and I think about the people who might be reading this. You can lose the weight and be healthy. Be sure to include healthy whey products in your daily eating plan to get in all the nutrition you need for the day. Designer Whey Powders taste great and are very good for you too.

Hello Friends,

Sorry I dropped off the face of the earth! My kids are home (I could stop there), spring break, stress and anxiety. Just trying to sort through it all. Last night I watched “The Biggest Loser”.  Those people look amazing! 14 weeks and losing over 100 pounds, wow! I want the chance they have
but how? How do I get there? I wish the answers were simple. Maybe they are.  I have tried everything and there is so much information on what to do, what not to do, it becomes over whelming. My quest keeps going and going. I must say
never give up. Life comes at us and we have to push through.

I feel I need help, a personal trainer.  Or a treadmill or get all “The Biggest Loser” tools
maybe, but the cost. Oh, I hope our economy evens out soon. Yet, I am blessed. I have a nice house, cable, electricity, food in the frig
I really have nothing to complain about. No negativity needed!

I have to make a commitment to use the Designer Whey Diet program. It’s free! For the remainder of spring break I will get my diet done which will include Designer Whey Products.

Talk to you Monday Friends. After all, it is spring “break”.  Hey, make it a challenge to all of us. Get your healthy program planned, then work that plan to be healthy!

Take care and I hope this finds you healthier than the day before.

Hey Friends,

Are you as excited as I am seeing ‘my’ Designer Whey being held by Bob the trainer on the “Biggest Loser” show tonight? I was so excited I had to write in! It was so cool. I am very  happy for Designer Whey. They deserve it for having the best and purest protein powders out there. Best of all they keep it affordable for all of us! It takes a lot of guts for a business to rise up so far yet remember us down here struggling with being healthy by keeping their products within a monetary reach for the greater of us. So
a HIGH FIVE to Designer Whey!

Me on the other hand
I have been having 2 difficult days, just all messed up with my eating, almost out of control, probably very close to really screwing up and my only conclusion is that I came off the detox with out a plan. I also was off my Weight Control whey and the cravings have been unbearable. I gave in
sigh. I am too embarrassed to even say how badly but trust me, not good at all. All I got to say is tomorrow is another day
someone please kick my butt back in gear! I am going to bed early so I will wake up to a better attitude. Off to make me a shake to get back on my Designer Whey Plan. If you don’t know it now, Designer Whey has a great diet plan for free
Check it out then you just follow it! Ok Camille, take your own advice! Make a plan
Keep a plan
Drink your Whey and move your body everyday! It’s that simple.

Well Friends,

I am on day 3 of my detox regimen. Its going pretty good. Day one I ate only fruits, not so bad, I like a variety of fruits. Day two I ate only vegetables. That was a little harder, I don’t like as many veggies. Plus, in the detox regimen you can make French onion soup (no bread or cheese of course) loaded with any veggies your heart desires, except potatoes. You can eat the soup at anytime with the days food plan. Today was mixed vegetables and fruits. The only side effect of eating French onion soup every day, several times a day is
 well
when you pass gas it smells like onion soup! LOL. I keep waiting for this huge movement but it has not happened yet. I hope it will be one of those ‘ah ha’ moments, lol.

What’s interesting is I am not craving sugar at all! So that tells me I definitely need more fruit in my diet. I think I consumed so much fruit (which we know is nature’s sugar) that I did not need to crave the candy. Maybe when you crave sugar you simply need to add more fruit to your diet.

I did have a glass of my Lite and Lean powder before I cleaned house. I felt I needed it to make it through four hours of cleaning. Good thing its only 30 calories. My daughter is a trooper; she is following it to the tee. Except she keeps saying she can’t wait until Saturday to eat the donut she put in the freezer from a school party. I do have to hand it to her for not eating the donut, she stuck to her plan. I think I will encourage her to cut in thirds and eat only 1/3. I guess
don’t know. What do you say to not offend you teen daughter??? I did tell her to eat a protein bar before track practice. Maybe that is why she is not having hunger pangs.

Today I cleaned house for four hours straight, walked the dogs then went swimming. I swam 10 laps, back stoke taking a breather between laps, just for a minute.  I take my kids with me to the pool. They are always trying to beat me. They get close, but this big ol’ mama still can out swim them. Well, for one lap anyway. I am sure I could not beat them 2 laps in a row but we will keep that secret to us right
friends????

I hope this finds you healthier then yesterday. Don’t forget to drink your whey every day!

Camille

Hello Friends,

Did you know desserts spelled backwards is stressed? LOL
I hope this finds you well. My daughter and I are going to do a detox diet for one week. She wants to do this so I am going along to support her. It can’t hurt. It’s exciting to see her excited; the one in control of the “diet”. She made the grocery list and put it all together. When you have a teen that needs to lose a few, you support her efforts. The talks about eating healthy come to mind. She feels we need to do this and make a plan. So I will comply. The plan was created by GM and the FDA. You can ‘Google it’ by searching General Motors: Weight Loss Diet Program.

I kind of chilled today. I was pretty exhausted after cleaning house for 6 hours Friday. My days have been pretty busy and I just wanted a day of not doing anything. Never works out like that. Kids

Can you believe that the “Biggest Loser” contestants did a 13 mile run? I would love to be able to do a 13 minute run! Someone said to me that it is not reality to do the things the contestants do in everyday life. Maybe not, but it is inspiring to see people who were bigger then I am jogging, being able to go 13 miles and all the challenges they do
it amazes me and gives me hope that I can too and that it is possible. It pushes me a little further in my journey to become healthy! Knowing that, “Yes I Can” lifts me to a higher level.

I hope your weekend is great. Get out and enjoy its beauty.

Hello Friends,

This week went by so fast! I was so busy that I did not get to watch my favorite show until Sunday. Oh the “Biggest Loser” show of course left us hanging to see the winners. Good thing I don’t have too many days to wait! Did you see the segment where Sugar Ray was on? I did and he said a cool quip. He said POWER means Prepare-Overcome-Win-Every-Round. How cool is that! Also Designer Whey had a nice promo too. I can’t help be get excited for Designer Whey when I see their promo
you guys rock! I tell all my friends about Designer Whey Products and how they have helped me on my journey to healthier me.

I picked up a “Biggest Loser” Weight management kit from Sam’s Club today. I heard that 55% of the Biggest Losers diet is protein. See, if you listen carefully you will get the tips and secrets to the contestant’s weight loss. Some contestants lost almost 90 pounds in 9 weeks! I sure wish I could be a contestant and have someone push me, train me, feed me and teach me like the contestants receive. I wish for a personal trainer and equipment but with our budget being so tight
for now I will have to rely on myself. I wish our dog was good on the leash I would love to go for walks with her but she is a stinker and jerks me and pulls I have not been able to break her of that.

Today I got really irked
I don’t even know if irked is a word but I will say irked to be nice
I shop at a discount grocery store to help save money and the person in line ahead of me had his groceries and 2 bottles of Bailey’s Cream
ok so far not so bad
but then he pulls out his bridge (food stamp) card and pays for his groceries then a 20 dollar bill to pay for the booze
I am like steaming
the man can’t pay for his groceries but has the money for booze
.ugh!

Well friends its Monday and I always like Monday, it’s the beginning of a new week for new hopes.

Have a good one,

Camille

Happy March, Friends…it’s suppose to warm up this weekend here in Michigan…Bring it on! I hope this finds you healthier then the day before. I have been thinking about patterns and realized that everything is based on a pattern. I, like a lot of Americans have lived an unhealthy pattern. If you pay attention to Bob, one of the “Biggest Loser” trainers he said to be healthy the pattern is “Fuel -> Move -> Rest. For me it was always Move -> Rest -> Fuel -> Rest some more. So I had it wrong.

Our church is having a diet and nutrition course for the next few weeks. I am learning a lot and thought I would share with you all what I have learned in just one session.

To stop cravings – eat every 3 hours small meals that include protein.

Exercise: How much and how long – You only need 30 minutes a day of cardio. Cardio is simply raising your heart rate higher then your sitting heart rate. Here is something interesting
you do not need to do 30 minutes in a row. I never seem to fit in 30 minutes a day then felt bad but if you do 3 – 10 minute work outs or even if you start out doing 5 minutes – 6 times a day that works! You can jog in place, jump rope, dance, rebound or anything that will get your heart rate above your sitting rate even
 sex
LOL. OK, now run home and tell your husband its exercise time!

You need 1 hour each week strength training – it does not take very many pounds for strength. 2 – 5 pound weights is great! Carry a weight in your car and do bicep curls driving
ummm
one arm at a time! You can use soup cans or water bottles. I say use water bottles that you refill then after you are done doing reps, drink the water!

You need flexibility every day – stretching, bend touch your toes when you get out of bed, stand up from your computer. Practice flexibility anytime. Just get some stretching in wherever you can. That’s it to stay fit.

It’s best to exercise
ANYTIME! Morning does revs up your metabolism and helps keep it going all day.

The figure below is how to figure out how many calories you need to lose 1 pound a week just by your food intake. **Add exercise and you lose more!

1. Add 655 to this calculation 4.35 X Weight in Pounds
2. Add your answer to this calculation 4.7 X Height in inches
3. Subtract your answer to this calculation 4.7 X age
4. Subtract 500 calories

This equals the number of calories you need to take in each day to lose 1 pound a week. Not doing anything but this formula you could lose 52 pounds a year!

My weight is 278, Height 69 inches and I am 41
655 + 1209.3 (4.35 X 278) + 324.3 (4.7 X 69) – 192.7 (4.7 X 41) – 500 = 1495.9 calories a day. (1500 is close enough!)

To figure out how much water you need to drink a day it’s your weight divided by 2. My weigh is 278, I should be drinking 139 oz of water a day
whoa sure will be pee’n a lot! That’s over a gallon a day! That is hard to see doing but I think I will make it a goal to drink a gallon of water a day
Or lose weight so I don’t have to drink that much!

I hope this helps you with your weight loss journey. Start with figuring out your resting heart rate add a little more movement every day and before you know it you will have worked yourself up to 30 minutes of cardio a day. I will close for now

Until next time

Hello Friends,

I tell ya, Designer Whey Products rock! These products really help when you are on a weight loss journey. When you contact Designer Whey they are prompt to help answer any questions you have. So not only are they dedicated to a great product but the stand by it, they are happy to assist you. Best of all they want you to succeed in your goals. Whether it is to lose weight, live healthier, or body build they are there for you. They even give you a free diet plan to follow. That just shows you how much confidence they have in their company and products.

Last month I lost 8 pounds. I still have a few to go to catch up to where I left off before all the holiday festivities. I contribute the loss to following my plan which includes drinking my whey. Tonight I really wanted something sweet and so I got out my blender, tossed in a good and ripe banana, added 1 cup of skim milk, a dash a cinnamon, 1 scoop of French Vanilla Weight Control Powder then about 6 ice cubes
turned on that baby and whirled it for a minute or two, poured the mixture in a nice glass
.It was soooooo good and satisfying. I almost always have a shake before bed and I swear it helps me sleep better. Guess I am like a baby
lol. I used to suffer really bad from acid reflux now I only have a bout here and there and those bouts are the nights I forget to have my shake!

We are back to the cold here in Michigan
ugh
and I am sure when it gets hot I will complain then too!

Well, friends, night for now. I hope this finds you well and thank you Designer Whey
you’re the best.

 Camille

Well Friends, yesterday was my 41st birthday. My husband and girls gave me a wonderful and fun birthday. Purple is my favorite color so of course my girls get purple balloons and steamers. My husband is quite the character, he buys me purple duct tape, pretty funny! He also bought me a very nice simple silver necklace which is perfect for me as I am a pretty simple person. I love popcorn so my daughters bought me a popcorn recipe book, very cool. Popcorn is a perfect snack, high fiber, low calories. On the humorous side, I watch Oprah so my girls bought me Oprah Magazine. We have a tradition of all kids get a small gift on each others birthday. If you have young kids it works like a charm when the girls see their sister getting a bunch a gifts they are not so hurt because they receive a gift too.

Did you watch The Biggest Loser this week? I think Joelle deserved to go home but I felt bad for Carla. When you want something so bad and another gets in the way it is frustrating.

I have been trying to speed up my walk and I guess you would call it a light jog. I can go 3 houses then have to slow back to a walk but for me even jogging two feet is a challenge. I see the contestants on The Biggest Loser and they are even heavier than I am and they can jog so I have been doing a little at a time. I started by doing a light jog on my rebounder then progressed to when I walked. It’s easier for me on the rebounder then on cement. Now I know I can do it and that feels pretty good.

Have a great week end. Stick to your healthy plans, and look for The Biggest Loser Protein in your local grocery store. It tastes great and will help you lose weight and feel great with a proper diet and exercise!

Weekends are very difficult for me I always gain a pound or 2; I hate it and feel guilty. But how do you balance life and diet? When your hubby wants to have a couple of beers with you do you just say no? When you are invited to a birthday party do you not eat the cake? When super bowl is on do you just nibble on celery sticks? Sometimes our bodies are not fair. Why can my friend have beer and Big Macs and cookies and not gain an ounce? She’s a size 2
ugh. I can not even smell a Big Mac without putting on 5 pounds!

So, here I sit, it’s Sunday, back on my eating plan, feeling disgusted that I have to get off the 1.5 pound that I gained just from Friday and Saturdays events to get back on the losing end
sigh. I am not mad at the events I had a great times. I am frustrated as to why I can’t have my cake and eat too and just be fine when I hop on the scale. Why does my body hold on to food and calories turn it into fat to store it way just incase there is some famine or something
I just want to scream
 YOU WILL NOT STARVE
LET IT GO!

For Super Bowl goodies we had a bunch of cut up veggies with dip, fresh fruit with dip, pretzels, popcorn. Instead of our traditional pizza we got 100 calorie English muffins and topped those with pizza stuff. Saved about 80 calories per piece and it was good!

Well, I better get busy and get some things done around here before I go to sleep.

Take care,

Camille
