Default Great recipe for No-Bake Protein Bars

2 cups quick cooking oats
1/2 cup natural peanut butter
4 scoops protein powder (vanilla flavors work best)
1 tbsp ground flaxseeds
1/2 cup water

1. Knead all ingredients in a large bowl.

2. Line square baking pan with wax paper. Spread dough into pan using a spatula. Optional: Spread a thin layer of peanut butter on top.

3. Freeze for 30 minutes

4. Remove from freezer. Cut into bars.

Nutrients per serving:
Calories: 230
Total Fats: 10g
Saturated Fat: 2g
Trans Fat: 0g
Cholesterol: 15mg
Sodium: 20mg
Total Carbohydrates: 21g
Dietary Fiber: 4g
Sugars: 3g
Protein: 15g
Iron: 2mg

Default New Protein Recipe

1 banana
1 cup skim or soy milk or a container of low cal fat free yogurt (vanilla or plain)
1 or 2 tbsp peanut butter
as much whey as you want- for me 1/2 a scoop which is 13 cos a whole scoop with these ingredients would me more protein than the body can absorb
a whole tray of ice, or as much as you want
i like to add a lot of ice cos it makes it a huge smoothie- more filling. sometimes i add fib assure too, and it keeps me full for a long time.
you can put whey in any smoothie and it tastes great- if you use vanilla it doesn't take away from the taste of the other things but adds a little bit of a sugary taste.
